Alberese

In the quiet Tuscan countryside, among sun-kissed hills and stretches of centuries-old olive trees, there is a small creative studio surrounded by green, where magic takes shape under the skilled hands of a designer with a passion for nature and beauty. This is the place where the “Alberese” wallpaper was born, a work of art that tells the story of trees and of their timeless elegance.

It was a cool autumn morning when I began work on my new design project. I was looking out of the window, admiring the beauty of the trees set against the blue sky, and I felt a sudden inspiration run through me. I decided that I wanted to capture the purity and the majesty of the trees in a way that could turn the walls of any house into a living work of art.

I began to draw the shapes of the trees on paper, letting the lines flow freely, with no set scheme. I wanted every tree to be unique, to capture its own character and its own particular beauty. I added minute detail to the leaves, trying to recreate the sense of lightness and movement one feels when the wind makes them dance.

Once the drawing was finished, I chose with care a palette that could bring out the beauty of the trees without drawing attention away from their intrinsic appeal. I opted for a monochrome ground, which would let the shapes of the trees stand out and allow them to shine in their simplicity and elegance.

The name “Alberese” came about of its own accord, inspired by the Tuscan village surrounded by woods of holm oak and cork oak, where nature reigns and life runs quietly. I wanted the wallpaper to carry with it a sense of calm and serenity, just like the one you breathe walking among the trees of Alberese.

Every time I look at the “Alberese” wallpaper, I feel carried into a world of natural beauty and harmony. I hope that whoever chooses it to decorate their walls may feel wrapped in the magic of the trees, and may find comfort and inspiration in their eternal presence.
