The story
The Voli di Piuma wallpaper is born as a fairy tale painted on the wall: gentle cranes and curious hoopoes glide among flowering branches and light reeds, while swallows and dragonflies cross a clear, luminous sky. Every creature is rendered with a soft, friendly line, faithful to nature but softened to accompany the imagination of the youngest.
I conceived this drawing as a space that breathes: a few well-placed motifs in wide voids of light, so that the eye may settle and fly away, just like its small wings. From afar it is an atmospheric scene that opens the room onto a tender sky; up close it reveals the weave of the feathers and the petals of the flowers, details that reward curiosity.
Lightness is its heart: flight as a promise of freedom, the return of the birds as the reassuring rhythm of the seasons. It is an invitation to grow without haste, cradled by a gentle horizon. The Voli di Piuma wallpaper speaks the language of childhood with elegance, without ever slipping into the obvious.
