The story
The Fronde di Macchia wallpaper comes from the wish to bring home the mild air of a sunlit garden. Eucalyptus and olive branches arch across the wall, while ivy, rosemary, sage and myrtle weave their pattern: a living herbarium, where every frond tells of slow growth and the patience of nature.
We imagined a real, photographic depth, in which the wider leaves come forward and the finer twigs are lost in a luminous haze. It is an invitation to breathe, to recognise in Mediterranean green — olive, laurel, verdigris faded by the sun — a sign of rootedness and quiet. From a distance the architectural fronds draw a decided gesture; close up the veins appear, the silvery down of the stems, the silky grain of every leaf.
