The story
With the Melograno d’Ombra wallpaper I wanted to bring back into the room the slow breath of antique Italian fabrics, cleared of every needless splendour. The pomegranate, fruit of passage and of promise, opens among acanthus scrolls and fine arabesques, set out in a regular rhythm that wraps the wall with neither centre nor noise.
I chose a wide ornamental scale, able to anchor the room from a distance, and a scrollwork detail that reveals itself only close up: leaf veining, tight seeds, curls chasing one another. The palette comes from the theme itself — muted bronze and antique gold on a charcoal slate ground, with hints of olive and clay — because here richness is tone on tone, never gilded contrast.
It is an ornament made for the warm half-light of the bedroom, where low light strokes the design and lets it breathe slowly. The Melograno d’Ombra wallpaper speaks of rootedness and of cycle, of a grandeur that knows how to be quiet. Every motif is drawn and tuned with the artisan care WallZad gives to each project: a decoration that does not shout, but stays, watching over rest like a frieze painted in an old palace.

Printed and finished in Italy by ZADITALY®. The thickness of the substrate hides most of the imperfections in the wall, the dimensions are cut to your wall and the adhesive is in the box.
