Zenit Prismatico

The Zenit Prismatico wallpaper is born of a single low, concentrated point, from which a fan of curved sectors opens, rising and widening until it fills the whole field of vision. This is how I wanted to tell of Orphism, the style that takes form here: not the line describing an object, but colour itself building space, through simultaneous contrasts and chromatic vibrations.

Each segment is a petal of light interlacing with its neighbour, never symmetrical, never mechanical: the bands overlap like the sticks of an open fan, and the eye does not distinguish the single shapes but one continuous surge upwards. From the low pivot, where red, orange and gold burn dense, the colour melts into yellow, green, turquoise, blue and violet as the sectors move away, each with a luminosity that changes from within, as if it were breathing.

Up close, the drawing reveals a weave of thin arched striations and minimal blades of contrasting colour slipped into the joins: a work of fine modulation that gives depth even to the flattest surface. It is in this detail that I recognise the value of craftsmanship: every nuance has been considered, tested, calibrated so that the wall is never mute.

Zenit Prismatico does not tell of a place but of a movement: that of energy radiating and multiplying, able to give breath and character to any interior, from the home to the workplace to the most refined hospitality.
