I draw the Forno di Marzapane wallpaper as a small city of bread, caught in the sweet hour of the morning. In the language of Toy Isometric, the toy isometry that likes clean volumes and strong outlines, I have composed bakery windows with scalloped striped awnings, alternating with stacks of wooden baskets full of small loaves, rolls, brioches and doughnuts. Every façade is a small tilted cube, drawn in flat vector blocks with no real depth: a playful theatre where bread becomes architecture.
