Landa d’Erica wallpaper is the stretch of moorland I wanted to hold on the wall: a silent upland where plum and rust-coloured heather runs to the horizon, dotted with granite boulders clad in grey-green lichen and with a thin sheep track that loses itself in the folds of the ground.

In my studio, where daylight falls clear and steady, I looked for the same quality of quiet: a natural order, never contrived, that supports concentration without distracting it.
