Spirali di Scorza

I am born of a gesture as old as Mediterranean cooking: the hand peeling a lemon or an orange in one continuous ribbon. The Spirali di Scorza wallpaper takes up that very movement and turns it into visual rhythm, into diagonal bands that cross the wall like a regular breath, measured, never accidental.

They are ribbons of peel curling on themselves, overlapping, varying in width as they run on the diagonal: citron yellow and terracotta laid in full colour areas, without shadow or shading, with the clean, slightly vibrating edge of hand-pulled screen printing.
